Welcome reception

The organisers invite you for a dinner on the evening of your arrival. We wish to serve you some refreshment and a buffet dinner after your travel. Our other aim is to create a familiar atmosphere where you can meet old friends, and make new relationships, too.

Included in the registration fees.

Beer session

Wednesday, 19 October, from 20:00
Cactus Juice Gastro Pub; 1061 Budapest, Jókai tér 5.

On the second day of the conference we are planning to have a "Beer session" in a local pub during the evening. We would like to invite you to join us that night, to have the opportunity to get to know each other better.

Please note that the "Beer session" programme is not included in the registration fee, your consumption should be covered individually.

How to get there: at Petőfi híd (Buda side) tram stop, take tram line number 4 or 6 to the direction of Széll Kálmán tér and get off at Oktogon stop (this is the ninth stop). The pub is two-minutes walk from Oktogon.

Gala dinner with river cruise

Thursday, 20 October 20:00-22:00

Come and enjoy a friendly and memorable gala dinner with the conference participants on an amazing river cruise. A delicious dinner with wines will be served during the night. When in Budapest one cannot miss out on sailing past the architectural wonders of the Hungarian Capital. The Castle district, the Citadel or the House of Parliament are just a few of the numerous gorgeous attributes the embankment of river Danube flaunts. Our gala dinner with river cruise gives you the opportunity to admire the breath-taking panorama of the capital.

Please note: there are no stops along the cruise route.

Gathering in the aula of the venue: 19:15-19:30

Walking to the location of the gala dinner: 19:30-19:45

Boarding at the pier of A38 boat: 19:45

Individual boarding is not allowed!

Breakfast with the speakers

You will have the opportunity  to have a breakfast with our invited speakers at the speaker's hotel, Ibis Styles Budapest City Budapest /Budapest, Soroksári út 12.). Please log in to the registration database ( https://epigen2022.diamond-congress.hu/ ) and arrange your application under the "optional programs" link . The number of participants for these breakfasts is limited (3 persons/speaker), so make sure to arrange your application in time. In case you have your accommodation in an other hotel, the cost of your breakfast will be covered by the organizers.
